On June 13, 2026, the Consulate General of Switzerland in Atlanta and Fetch Park Buckhead invite soccer fans, dog lovers, and the wider Atlanta community to come together for a unique Switzerland-themed watch party celebrating Switzerland’s opening World Cup group-stage soccer match against Qatar.
Taking place at Fetch Park Buckhead, Atlanta’s popular outdoor, dog-friendly social venue, the event combines international soccer, Swiss culture, community engagement, and four-legged fun in a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Visitors will gather to watch Switzerland’s first World Cup match on Fetch Park’s giant outdoor screen while enjoying a variety of Swiss-themed activities throughout the afternoon and evening. The event will begin with welcome remarks by Consul General of Switzerland in Atlanta Rolf Ott and the founder of Fetch Park, Stephen Ochs, highlighting the strong ties between Switzerland and the Atlanta region and celebrating the values of community, innovation, and international exchange.

Guests and their dogs can take part in a complimentary photo opportunity with a professional pet photographer. At the end of the event, participants will receive a printed keepsake photo to take home.

As part of the collaboration, visitors will also be able to experience a newly created Switzerland-themed mural at Fetch Park. Designed as a permanent installation, the mural celebrates Switzerland’s contributions in areas such as innovation, sustainability, international partnership, science, and culture.
The artwork will serve as a lasting reminder of the partnership between Switzerland and the Atlanta community long after the final whistle of the World Cup. Visitors will be able to scan a QR code next to the mural to learn more about the stories and Swiss achievements represented in the artwork through the Swiss Impact platform.
