The Consulate General of Switzerland in Chicago is Switzerland’s official representation in the Midwest, whose main objectives are to strengthen ties with state and local authorities and to promote trade, innovation, investment, education and cultural exchange between our 11-state jurisdiction and Switzerland. Located in a dynamic regional environment, Chicago is known for its diverse innovations in a variety of fields, from natural history and architecture to sustainability and science. The Swiss economic impact in the Midwest also ranks high with over 300 Swiss company locations throughout the region.
