The Montreux Jazz Festival, one of the world’s most iconic music festivals, is coming back to Florida for a unique musical experience in the heart of Coconut Grove, Miami. After a successful first edition, the Swiss festival continues to expand its legacy beyond borders.
Founded in 1967 by Claude Nobs, a music enthusiast with a vision, the Montreux Jazz Festival was born out of a simple idea: bringing life and rhythm to the quiet Swiss town of Montreux. What started as a small festival quickly grew into a globally renowned stage for the world’s greatest artists.
Legends like Nina Simone, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, and many more have left their mark on the festival’s history, making Montreux a mythical place for lovers of live music. Today, this exceptional event travels the world, and in Miami, its musical heritage will come to life once again for its second Floridian edition.
From February 28 to March 2, 2025, the Montreux Jazz Festival Miami stage will welcome renowned artists such as Jon Batiste, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, and Ibrahim Maalouf. A major highlight of this edition will be the performance of Yilian Cañizares, a Swiss-Cuban violinist and singer. She perfectly embodies the fusion of Swiss musical heritage with the rich international influences that make this festival so unique.
From Switzerland to Miami, the Montreux Jazz Festival spirit continues to travel and inspire music lovers. Don’t miss this exceptional edition in the heart of Coconut Grove!
