Discover “Deep Dark Blue,” the new gripping crime novel by the bestselling Swiss author Seraina Kobler. The author participated in the LITQUAKE Literature Festival and was interviewed by Randal Brandt, the curator of UC Berkeley’s Detective Fiction Collection. Her crime novel, which is set in the streets of Zurich, was released in English in November 2023.
About Seraina: Seraina Kobler, born in Locarno in 1982, studied linguistics and cultural studies before working as a journalist for publications such as the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (New Zurich Newspaper). Eventually setting up as a freelance author, she published her debut novel in 2020, Regenschatten. Her first Zurich-based crime novel featuring officer Rosa Zambrano, Deep Dark Blue, spent months on the Swiss bestseller lists. Seraina Kobler lives and works with her family in Zurich and Lausanne.
